FirstHealth of the Carolinas Goes Live with Wellsoft EDIS at Second Hospital - Richmond Memorial |

This installation supports the goal of continuity of care across the FirstHealth of the Carolinas network Somerset, NJ – May 12, 2010 –Wellsoft Corporation announced today that FirstHealth of the Carolinas is live with Wellsoft’s Emergency Department Information System (EDIS) at Richmond Memorial Hospital, the second hospital in their health care system to implement Wellsoft EDIS. Wellsoft first implemented their award winning Wellsoft EDIS at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, North Carolina in 2001. Richmond Memorial Hospital, a community hospital located in Rockingham, North Carolina, serves emergency, outpatient and acute care needs of people of Richmond county and surrounding areas. Over 27,000 patients are seen in the Emergency Department every year. Richmond Memorial Hospital installed Wellsoft EDIS to help realize their strategic goals of providing an efficient emergency department and enhancing patient care. This installation also supports the goal of continuity of care across the FirstHealth of the Carolinas health care network.
