Enhanced Audit Trail Audit events such as changes to fields, addition, deletion and merging of records, access to record and editor displays and access to printing and the find function and log them to a dedicated, security restricted module. All data captured in this module can be reported upon, e.g. who printed a particular record, etc. This module is an enhancement to the standard Wellsoft EDIS audit trail feature. Clinical Decision Support for Quality Measures Efficiently record and report on CMS physician quality measures and/or The Joint Commission hospital core measures to expedite clinical priorities and maximize pay-for-performance financial reimbursements. Wellsoft’s Clinical Decision Support feature utilizes a single table strategically placed on the tracking, triage, and chart displays to remind the triage nurse and the physician to record and perform patient specific quality measures. It will allow Emergency Departments to define custom "rules" that scan multiple areas of the patient record and perform conditional statements to identify all flag appropriate patients in real time, display the elapsed time since the care considerations were initiated, and present color codes that reflect their completion status. Three Reports – a Quality Measures Log, Quality Measures Discrepancies Report, & Quality Measures Tally – are provided to generate performance reports based on the data collection table to promote superior quality of care. Real Time Dashboard View a real-time snapshot of what is happening in your Emergency Department at this moment. The dashboard will show you how many patients are waiting at each status, LOS for each area, patients by nurse, doctor or any other information you choose. An easy-to-use button on the top of every display screen shows you the state of your ED quickly—from any place in the program or any workstation in the department.
Standard & Custom Reports Automatically generate a wide variety of reports, including 3-dimensional color graphics formats using the Wellsoft EDIS integrated report writer. Powerful and flexible, this tool produces many standard reports including patient log, acuity reports, time points analysis, waiting times and many more. Wellsoft EDIS also provides custom reports such as management studies and annual statistical reports. The client can design their own reports or Wellsoft will configure reports and download them as part of the Software Support agreement. Data can be exported to a third party reporting tool if desired. Crystal Reports® Tool for Wellsoft EDIS Reports Using the information stored in the Wellsoft EDIS database, the reports developer in your organization can easily use database scripts, Crystal Reports functions and documentation to write reports. The tool includes Oracle® Scripts to create database views and functions for use with Crystal Reports, a set of Crystal Report Functions to access and manipulate proprietary data structures, a Data Dictionary describing the fields in the Oracle Views, a set of sample reports demonstrating how to access the Oracle Views and use the Crystal Report Functions, a program to view the reports created and a User Guide.
